Pamir Stopovers |
In summer 2002 I took part in expedition to the 7,134 metres high mountain Lenin Peak in Kyrgyzstan. I came there with my four friends to see the rugged romance of almost untouched landscape, poor but friendly and hospitable local people, and to find out that it is not so important to climb a high mountain but keep the inquisitive spirit, open eyes to the beauty and open heart...
Detailed description of the expedition is in my Pamir Diary (sorry, only in czech language). |
